Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE bags & brackets, specially designed for all 1964-1972 A bodies including Chevelle’s, Malibu’s, GTO’s, Skylarks, Pontiacs, Lemans, GTX, GTOs, Monte Carlo’s, El Camino’s, and more. These brackets are paired with genuine EZ AIRRIDE 2500 series airbags, known for their industry-leading stroke capability. Our 2500 series airbags offer more stroke than traditional 2500 series air springs, compressing down to 2.8 inches and extending to nearly 11 inches, providing a total stroke of 8 inches. This increased stroke results in lower pressure within the bags, ultimately delivering a more dynamic ride quality. Whether you’re planning an LS swap, have a 454 big block engine, or want to fit 20-inch rims on your vehicle, our airbags can handle it all. With our bags, the stroke factor is key to ensuring superior performance in any situation. Whether it be for laying it on the lawn at the show, avoiding pipes dragging on the driveway, header collectors catching speed bumps to the added passenger weight scrubbing the tires on turns. Experience the difference with EZ AIRRIDE.

Our airbag bracket combos come complete with powder-coated brackets, all necessary airbag hardware, including airbag bolts, and the required 7/16″ all-thread.

Please note: Our 2500 series bags and brackets are designed for EZ installation with 100% bolt-on compatibility. However, for most custom classic vehicles such as the A Body platform frames, it is important to note that slight trimming and cutting may be required on the front upper, outer portion of the frame pocket to ensure proper accommodation of the airbags.

If you are running aftermarket tubular arms or plan to do so, please note that the lower brackets may not not be compatible. Give us a call, and we will provide custom lower drop-in tubular brackets at no additional cost to ensure compatibility.

"Scroll down for all the good stuff - what you see is what you get."

Our Platinum Kit is engineered to enhance your Malibu’s performance by improving driving comfort and giving it a distinctive stance. These enhancements are accomplished with the help of a handheld switch box and our unique Platinum dual needle air ride gauge panel. We’ve designed our kits with DIY enthusiasts in mind, eliminating the need for complex equipment like computers, brain boxes, sensors, levelers, extensive wiring, calibration, etc. We call this “driver seat calibration,” controlled by your eyes and thumb. Similar to how you use your speedometer to monitor your speed and your gas pedal to regulate it, our Platinum gauge operates in much the same way. Simply use your thumb to press the rocker switch to adjust your vehicle’s height, and watch the gauge needles to find your ideal pressure point and ride height. The Platinum’s gauge panel combined with the switch box enables you to adjust your vehicle’s ride height to your liking. Lowering it for a sporty look and better aerodynamics, or raising it for leisurely cruising. This system’s high adjustability offers a personalized ride to meet your specific preferences and needs.

The Platinum Kit is strictly a “FRONT & REAR SYSTEM ONLY,” catering to those who desire “THE NEED 4 SPEED” in their air ride system. The kit comes with four of our exclusive 280 psi rated one-way valves that strategically pair up and mount to the air tank to fill and release air from the front bags & rear bags with significant force. You can think of these valves as mini superchargers, similar to a supercharger that you would put on your engine to push additional air into the engine’s combustion chamber. This kit is tailored for individuals who wish to replicate the functions of hydraulics, such as quicker raising and lowering, while managing it with a switch box, all while preserving the original structure of their classic vehicle.

Noted: That The Platinum Kit is a “FRONT & REAR SYSTEM ONLY.” This setup will only allow for both the front and rear of the vehicle to move up and down equally, without independent wheel or side articulation. While this may not be an issue for those looking to simply raise the front and rear simultaneously, it’s worth noting that the “Chevy lean” effect may be more noticeable on a vehicle equipped with just a “front and back system.” Don’t misunderstand us- if your intention is solely to hop it up front & back with the simplicity of a simple “Front & back” hand held control box, then this kit will work perfectly for you. However, if your needs go beyond this, we recommend you explore our Elite Kit.

What goes up must come down: Most of us enjoy cruising with our favorite lady, or perhaps the little ones who like to press the buttons to lift and lower the car because, it’s fun. However, it becomes less fun when they press the down button too hard, causing the front end to drop so abruptly that the chassis pounds the pavement with your pipes, or pan… Oops! But no need to fret, each dump valve comes with our EZ FLOW Brass slowdown muffler, which allows you to control the speed of the drop with a simple twist of the finger, just like adjusting the volume on your stereo.

WHATS INCLUDED: Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE airbags & brackets, specially designed for all 1964-1972 Malibu’s & Chevelle’s. Our airbag brackets feature powder-coated finishes to enhance durability and provide added protection.
INSTALLATION OF THE BAGS & BRACKETS: Streamline your air ride installation process with our 1964-1972 Malibu brackets – the simplest setup available.

STARTING WITH THE REAR INSTALLATION: attach the lower air bag bracket to your trailing arm and bolt it from underneath the trailing arm through the bracket to secure the bottom of the airbag. It’s as easy as that. The upper rear bag bracket is just as straightforward – attach it to the frame and bolt it through the top of the frame. Most A body’s have a 2.5” round hole on the top of their rear frame. Use the provided washer to secure the provided all thread, tighten it down, and use the neighboring hole to run your air line through.

FRONT BRACKETS: The front upper bracket can be seamlessly installed into the upper frame pocket and then securely bolted to the pre-existing shock mount hole. The lower bag bracket is conveniently positioned inside the spring seat of the lower factory A-arm. The airbag bolts to both the top and bottom bracket. It’s that easy. The vehicles own weight anchors it in place, much like the factory coil spring. Given the frames design, which includes a broader metal surround at the top, some of the surrounding metal will need to be cut away to create additional room for an air spring. However, this is merely a cosmetic modification and will not compromise the structural integrity of the frames support.

In contrast to other companies promoting their larger 2600# series 7-inch diameter airbags that will expand to over 8 inches in diameter, we exclusively utilize our 2500# series air springs with a compact 6-inch diameter that will not exceed 7 inches in diameter for your classic car. This decision guarantees minimal adjustments to your upper frame pocket. Without compromising a dynamic lift, drop or ride. While some companies may argue that your heavy vehicle requires the larger bag, many neglect to reveal the actual stroke of their larger 2600# series bags. The allure of installing a larger 2600# series bag under your heavy classic may be tempting, but the practicality falls short. You would likely need to remove much more of your upper frame pocket, which may not be a major concern, but here’s the crucial point. Many market their 2600# series bags, as a larger bag, better equipped for your heavy classic, not explaining that they are mere “helper springs” designed for enhanced towing capacity on trucks. Although these bags may compress to 3 inches, the drawback is that they will only extend to 7-7.5 inches, leaving you with approximately 4 inches of usable stroke when fully extended. Therefore, if you have larger wheels or a big block engine, be prepared to reach the maximum psi in the 2600 bags, resulting in a more rigid ride. Trust us to provide the ideal air bag for your classic car, ensuring a ride as comfortable as a Cadillac.

THE FINAL CUT: While your classic cars vintage charm is its biggest asset and we understand that any modification to your classic treasure may sound daunting, this minor alteration is crucial in allowing the bag to do its job without rubbing. Think of it as tailoring a suit – a small tweak for a perfect fit.

OUR FRONT SHOCK RELOCATION KIT: Includes both shock absorbers, upper shock towers, lower stainless bolts, and all necessary hardware for relocating the front shocks to the outside of the airbag.

THE LOWER STAINLESS SHOCK BOLTS: Effortlessly bolt through the factory lower control arm. This process involves drilling a hole the same size as the provided stud, typically below the airbag on the backside of the A-arm facing the firewall.

THE UPPER SHOCK TOWERS: Are designed to be welded to the upper frame for a secure attachment. While some companies offer similar brackets with pre-drilled holes for bolting on, we recommend welding them for a stronger bond and a professional finish. Factors such as taller rim height, wider rims, thicker series tires, smaller wheel sizes, drop spindles, and custom lower A-arm variations can all affect the precise positioning of the shock absorber. It is crucial to measure accurately, tack weld carefully, and then weld once to ensure precision. Use a floor jack to cycle the suspension for proper clearance and turn the wheels from lock to lock to verify shock clearance. The shock should never bottom out when the suspension is fully compressed, so maintain at least a ¼” gap to prevent damage to the shock or shock mounts.

*SPECIAL ATTENTION IF YOU ARE USING, OR PLAN TO USE AFTERMARKET LOWER TUBULAR A ARMS: you’ll need to undertake some light fabrication to secure the lower shock stud to the new lower tubular A arm this would involve fabricating steel tabs/brackets that can be welded onto the actual lower arm to secure the lower shock stud. Another option would be to drill a larger hole through the aftermarket arm and inserting a DOM tube of the correct size to support the stud, which is then welded in place. If you haven’t already purchased new flashy tubular arms, our recommendation is to refurbish your original arms by painting them and equipping them with new ball joints. This will simplify the process of securing the lower shock eyelet to the shock stud and save you a few hundred dollars, which can be allocated towards other visible and valuable enhancements. However, if your primary goal is to showcase your vehicle at an event like Barret Jackson to attract high bids, then yes, they will indeed look impressive to potential buyers when viewed by the chassis cam.

CLOSING REMARK’S ON FRONT SHOCK INSTALLATION: The advice given is pertinent to a majority of our vintage vehicles during the process of air suspension installation. While there may be variations among early classic vehicles manufactured in different factories. Most well-known A,B,G models such as Chevelle’s, Monte Carlos, Skylarks, Caprice Classics, and Impalas are categorized as front steer vehicles, where steering components are usually located near the core support in front of the wheel. This making the relocation of the upper shock tower and shock absorber, outside the airbag towards the firewall, a relatively straightforward process. However, considering the diverse designs of vehicles produced over a half century ago and potential obstacles like brake lines and sway bars, seeking guidance from a professional builder or certified shop is advisable when planning to relocate your front shocks.

REAR SHOCKS: Let’s talk about rear shocks – done! We don’t include them. Our rear bags and brackets are designed to utilize your original factory shock. When looking to install airbags onto your vehicle, many companies will try to persuade you to purchase their expensive, foxy looking shocks. All the while emphasizing the necessity of fancy dropped shocks for an air ride system. They’ll insist on the importance of these fancy shocks for an air ride system, but in reality, a high-quality airbag carries most of the suspension’s load. The shock is essentially a backup damper for sudden encounters with large potholes or when you’re zooming over train tracks at 45 mph. This is why we don’t include REAR SHOCKS in our air ride kits. Our advice is to go to your favorite auto parts store and ask for the most cost-effective, STOCK gas shock that fits your specific vehicle model. Put the $200-$300.00 we saved you back into your pocket.

Now, if your rear shocks are showing their age, if they’re relics from Montgomery Ward, or if they’re Hi Jacker air shocks installed during someone’s high school years in the 70’s, its time for them to go. Replace them with budget friendly, STOCK gas shocks from your favorite auto supply store. If the shop assistant presents a sale on heavy-duty, branded shocks with million-mile warranties, etc. decline! Spending more on a heavy-duty shock will take away from the dynamic lift, drop, and most importantly, the drive quality of our air ride system. Simply put: at the end of the day top shock manufacturers design their products based on the original steel spring that your classic car originally came with, not a high-quality air bag.

THE AIR TANK: Our tanks have a capacity of just over 5 gallons. They measure approximately 34” in length, 7.25” in diameter, and stand about 8.50” tall. There are two bungs on the face to connect to the gauge, side bungs on one end for adapting the compressor, psi switch, and a complimentary quick connect for spare air. Additionally, there is another bung on the opposite end to accommodate an additional compressor, train horn, or any other favorite accessory. Tanks to your friends at EZ AIRRIDE.

Air Compressor: Introducing Our premium 454ss compressor, Boasting a maximum working pressure of 200psi, and recognized for it’s efficiency in low amperage usage. Crafted for durability and exceptional airflow performance, this work horse is the ideal choice for any onboard air ride system. Every 454ss pump includes a special set of anti-vibration pads to reduce noise and vibrations, ensuring a SUPER SILENT operation every time. Each compressor is accompanied by a sleek anodized black stainless steel braided leader hose featuring a built-in check valve for effortless connection to the air tank.

Our 454ss Compressor is oil-less and equipped with a 12v permanent magnetic motor for efficient and reliable operation. It has a Built-in thermal overload protector incorporated to safeguard the compressor from overheating even in the most challenging operating conditions. With it being oil-less you can mount it in any direction or position. The only position we do not recommend is an upside-down mount, since heat tends to travel upward, and does not dissipate well in the motor housing.

Included with all 454ss compressors: our EZ AIRRIDE comprehensive wire care package containing all necessary items for installation of your compressor keeping it happy for years to come. This includes a premium 8g wire roll to conveniently link the compressor in your trunk to the battery way up front, a 40 amp fuse with a protective fuse holder, a 30/40 amp relay with a color-coded plug-in relay harness for simple setup, and a new nickel-plated top post battery terminal that will accept the 8 gauge wire. With these components provided, you can trust your air ride system to perform reliably and efficiently.

Our Platinum Kit is engineered to enhance your Malibu performance by improving driving comfort and giving it a distinctive stance.

WHATS INCLUDED: Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE airbags & brackets, specially designed for all 1973-1977 Malibus. Our airbag brackets feature powder-coated finishes to enhance durability and provide added protection. All necessary airbag/bracket hardware, including nuts, bolts, washers and the required 7/16″ all-thread is included. Our 2500 series airbags offer more stroke than traditional 2500 series airbags, compressing down to 2.8 inches and extending to 10.5 inches, providing useable stroke of nearly 8 inches. This increased stroke results in lower pressure within the bags, ultimately delivering a more dynamic ride quality. Whether you’re planning an LS swap, have a 454 big block engine, or want to fit 20″ rims on your ride, our airbags can handle it all. Each 2500 series airbag has a max load rating of 2,096 lbs. @ 100 psi. Whether it be for laying it on the lawn at the show, preventing pipes from scraping along the driveway, header collectors catching speed bumps, to the added passenger weight scrubbing the tires on turns. Experience the difference with EZ AIRRIDE. More stroke less filling

INSTALLATION OF THE BAGS & BRACKETS: Streamline your air ride installation process with our 1973-1977 Malibu brackets – the simplest setup available.

STARTING WITH THE REAR INSTALLATION: attach the lower air bag bracket to your factory spring perch simply by positioning it over the spring hat. The weight of the vehicle will naturally hold it in place, similar to the factory spring. For a more permanent fix, consider tack welding the bottom side of the bracket to the spring seat. The upper rear bag bracket is just as straightforward – attach it to the upper frame and bolt it through the top of the frame. Use the provided all thread, tighten it down with the lock washer and nut and use the neighboring hole to run your air line through.

THE FINAL CUT: While your classic cars vintage charm is it’s biggest asset and we understand that any modification to your classic treasure may sound daunting, this minor alteration is crucial in allowing the bag to do it’s job without rubbing.

Factors such as taller rim height, wider rims, thicker tire series, smaller wheel sizes, drop spindles, and custom lower A-arm variations can all affect the precise positioning of the shock absorber. It is crucial to measure accurately, tack weld carefully, and then weld once to ensure precision. Use a floor jack to cycle the suspension for proper clearance and turn the wheels from lock to lock to verify shock clearance. The shock should not bottom out when the suspension is fully compressed, so maintain at least a ¼” gap to prevent damage to the shock or shock mounts.

This making the relocation of the upper shock tower and shock absorber outside the airbag towards the firewall a relatively straightforward process.

If the shop assistant presents a sale on heavy-duty, branded shocks with million-mile warranties, etc. decline! Spending more on a heavy-duty shock will take away from the dynamic lift, drop, and most importantly, the ride quality of our air ride system.

There are two bungs on the face to connect to the valves, side bungs on one end for adapting the compressor, psi switch, and a complimentary quick connect for spare air.

INSTALLATION OF THE BAGS & BRACKETS: Streamline your air ride installation process with our 1978-1988 Malibu brackets – the simplest setup available.

THE FINAL CUT: While your classic cars vintage charm is it’s biggest asset and we understand that any modification to your classic treasure may sound daunting, this minor alteration is crucial in allowing the bag to do it’s job without rubbing.

This making the relocation of the upper shock tower and shock absorber outside the airbag towards the firewall a relatively straightforward process.

If the shop assistant presents a sale on heavy-duty, branded shocks with million-mile warranties, etc. decline! Spending more on a heavy-duty shock will take away from the dynamic lift, drop, and most importantly, the ride quality of our air ride system.

There are two bungs on the face to connect to the valves, side bungs on one end for adapting the compressor, psi switch, and a complimentary quick connect for spare air.

Our Classic Plus Kit is designed to enhance your Malibu with improved stability, driving performance, and a unique stance. This is made possible through our exclusive four-corner control Classic Plus air ride gauge. Our kits are specially designed with the Do-It-Yourself enthusiasts in mind, meaning there’s no need for computers, brain boxes, sensors, levelers, extensive wiring, calibration and so forth. We like to describe it as driver seat calibration, using your eyesight and your finger. Just as you have your speedometer needle to gauge your speed and your gas pedal to control it, our Classic Plus gauge operate similarly. Use your finger to adjust the lever up or down, and watch the needles on the gauge to find your preferred pressure point and ride height. With the 4-Corner Control Air Ride gauge panel, you can customize the ride height of your vehicle, lowering it for a sportier feel and better aerodynamics or raising it for fun cruising adventures. This high level of adjustability sets this system apart, offering a ride tailored to your preference and needs.

The main difference between our Classic Kits and our premium Elite Kits is the air line plumbing configuration. In the Classic Kits, 1/4″ paddle valve switches and air lines are utilized, connecting from the dash-mounted gauge to the airbags. Additionally, two more air lines are routed from the gauge back to the tank to supply the bags. While there is no air sound during the vehicle lift, you will hear the release of air from the paddle valves located where the gauge panel is installed. If you prefer a simpler plumbing setup and do not want to hear the air release from the gauge panel inside your vehicle, we recommend considering our Elite Kit.

You might be skeptical about the idea of a four-corner control system, commonly known as FBSS (Front-Back-Side-Side). However, it’s crucial to note that four-corner control is not for showboating side-to-side at the stoplights for the single ladies, it’s vital for maintaining control and minimizing body roll on our classic vehicles. Whether you’re accelerating up a freeway on-ramp at 60 mph, swerving to avoid a deer in the backwoods, towing, or adjusting for additional passenger weight, four-corner control is key.

"Scroll down for all the good stuff - what you see is what you get."

WHATS INCLUDED: Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE airbags & brackets, specially designed for all 1973-1977 Malibu’s.

Without compromising a dynamic lift, drop or drive.

This making the relocation of the upper shock tower and shock absorber outside the airbag towards the firewall a relatively straightforward process. However, given the diverse designs of vehicles made over half a century ago, and the potential obstacles, such as brake lines and sway bars, it’s advisable to consult with a professional builder or a certified shop when you plan to relocate your front shocks.

The main difference between our Classic Kits and premium Elite Kits is the air line plumbing configuration. If you prefer a simpler plumbing setup and do not want to hear the air release from the gauge panel inside your vehicle, we recommend considering our Elite KitWHATS INCLUDED: Introducing our exclusive EZ AIRRIDE airbags & brackets, specially designed for all 1964-1972 Malibu’s & Chevelle’s.

INSTALLATION OF THE BAGS & BRACKETS: Streamline your air ride installation process with our 1964-1972 Malibu brackets – the simplest setup available.

STARTING WITH THE REAR INSTALLATION: attach the lower air bag bracket to your trailing arm and bolt it from underneath the trailing arm through the plate to secure the bottom of the airbag. It’s as easy as that. The upper rear bag bracket is just as straightforward – attach it to the frame and bolt it through the top of the frame. Most A body’s have a 2.5” round hole on the top of the rear frame.

Without compromising a dynamic lift, drop or drive.

This making the relocation of the upper shock tower and shock absorber outside the airbag towards the firewall a relatively straightforward process. However, considering the diverse designs of vehicles produced over a half century ago and potential obstacles like brake lines and sway bars, seeking guidance from a professional builder or certified
